About Me

I’ve been crafting stories for as long as I can remember, I would say I am a storyteller at heart.  Writing has always been a constant in my life--a way to express myself and connect with others. Throughout my journey as a writer, I've realized storytelling is more than just sharing stories. Instead, storytelling is stimulating curiosity and creating a sense of community. Aside from storytelling, I am passionate about digital marketing, media and entertainment and public relations.

I graduated in May 2020 from James Madison University with a degree in communication studies. I concentrated specifically in public relations and had the opportunity to minor in writing, rhetoric and technical communication as well. Throughout the four years I spent at JMU, I explored my passions, completing a communication internship with Madison & Company, Inc. my junior year and an independent study alongside Dr. Julie Gochenhour my senior year. 

These experiences not only allowed me to improve my skillset, but also taught me how to break down difficult information into digestible and understandable pieces.
